Preston-based artist Gavin Renshaw is concerned with topography, local histories and the ability to interact and respond to the city, predominantly in regard to its infrastructure.
Renshaw drew on his interest in cycling and his local knowledge to explore Preston’s formal and informal cycling infrastructure. His research, which was developed through photography,drawing and mapmaking, was presented as part of The Expanded City symposium.
