Following the success of MET visiting Ribbleton in 2023, it returned in 2024 to the same car park now owned by Tesco. The challenge was to create a new and varied programme, not repeating what happened the year before but keeping the best parts. In response to feedback from the previous year we introduced more skill sharing workshops including silk screen printing, flower arranging and a wide variety of dance. The Big Afternoon Tea was repeated attracting over 80 older people. All this was achieved by the continued support of our community partners Strive 2 Thrive Lancashire CIC, who were instrumental in creating the programme.
