Feeding Futures

Wednesday 13th July, 10.30am – 2.30pm

Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester

Join us for Feeding Futures, an interactive event, which will explore some of the complicated attitudes towards the ways that we feed our babies, particularly when in public.

The day will include talks, workshops and performances by cultural historian Dr Joanna Wolfarth, design researcher Sally Sutherland, performance artist Krissi Musiol and breastfeeding counsellor and doula Louise Oliver. You will also be invited to share your own experiences and thoughts, whilst we discuss how to create a more supportive and positive culture around this essential act of care.

This is a free event and lunch and refreshments will be provided. You are welcome to bring your babies and young children and we will provide toys and activities for them.
