The Expanded City – Creative Infrastructure Labs

Throughout autumn 2020, In Certain Places will host a series of creative events for local residents and policy makers in communities in the north of Preston.

The events – titled ‘Creative Infrastructure Labs’ – will be led by an artists Julia Heslop, Emily Speed and Gavin Renshaw and will explore creative approaches to developing community infrastructure, such as sustainable transport routes, play spaces and community centres, within the new housing developments in the north of the city.

The labs will include online discussions and presentations featuring examples of successful projects from other places, nationally and internationally, as well as on-the-ground activities in your neighbourhood.

All activities are free, but booking is required. For more information please email info@incertainplaces.org, or visit expandedcity.org
