Teresa Hodgson-Holt creates memorable situations and events, which coalesce groups of people around specific activities. Often informed by the artist’s own personal experiences, Hodgson-Holt’s artworks are created through the individual contributions of numerous individuals. By bringing people together to achieve a common goal, her projects create new, temporary communities, which are connected through unusual and shared experiences. At the same time, her artworks, which generally take place in public and social spaces, are also curious spectacles, which interrupt the patterns of everyday life.
